Gandhinagar in 2015 adapted to a sustainable idea of making rainwater
consumable for all the 2000 people residing, working, and studying on
the campus. They could successfully achieve it through an efficient
sewage water treatment plant that produces about 3 lakh litre of
water daily. This helps greatly as their overall consumption is about
5 lakh litres.
